Meet the owners

Halle-Jade & Mason Squires

Halle-Jade and Mason Squires, a dynamic husband-and-wife team, opened Jade’s Café in December 2023, bringing a lifelong dream to life in the heart of Heber City. Married since 2018, the couple shares a deep-rooted connection to Utah—both were raised in Highland but didn’t meet until years after high school. For Halle, opening a coffee shop was a childhood dream, one that beautifully complements her creative career as head designer at her family-owned interior design firm, Nomad Soul Interiors. Mason, who brings a strong background in sales and logistics, is also a certified personal trainer with a passion for health and wellness. Together, they are deeply committed to offering the Heber community high-quality, fresh, and healthy food options that nourish both body and soul. They are also proud parents to two young children, Lennon and River. With their shared love for Heber City and its community, it was a natural choice for them to launch Jade’s Café there—blending their passions, talents, and family values into a warm, welcoming space for all.

Nate & Julie Meese

Nate and Julie Meese, the behind-the-scenes co-owners of both Jade’s Café and Nomad Soul Interiors, are the proud parents of Halle-Jade and the driving force behind several successful family-run businesses. Nate, who grew up in Idaho, brings decades of experience in construction through his building and remodeling company, Revival Builders. Julie, raised in Draper, Utah—where her family roots run deep—has a natural eye for design and originally founded Nomad Soul Interiors under the name Humble Dwellings. The name "Nomad Soul Interiors" reflects Nate and Julie’s shared love for travel and their deep appreciation for global design influences, inspired by their passion for exploring the world together. Their complementary talents have shaped both businesses into creative, welcoming spaces. In addition to their professional accomplishments, Nate and Julie are devoted parents to six children, four children-in-law, and grandparents to Seven—soon to be Eight—grandkids. Their passion for family, design, and community is reflected in every venture they touch, making them the heart of the Meese family's entrepreneurial spirit.
